Kickstart’ing YES!

Our Manawatu/Whanganui Kickstart was in full effect yesterday. Thanks for the wonderful Terry Shubkin, Chief Excitement Officer of Young Enterprise for helping Elizabeth Hansen begin our 2023 programme. Students learned all about YES, what the next 6-8 months look like, a bit about the Lean Canvas specifically Market Validation, Problem and Solution and heard from Leilani Faaiuaso, an ex-YES student and her journey last year through the programme.

Thanks to Natu Taufale, head coach of the Property Brokers Manawatu Jets, for speaking to our students about leadership and the core ingredient in becoming a successful leader, #empathy.

And, thanks to Richard Hansen for taking the students on a journey around company roles and the ins-and-outs of who does what. (We all know in the start-up game, everyone wears multiple hats!)

We've been around the programme a long, long time so once again, we are privileged and humbled to be leading the YES programme for our Manawatu/Whanganui regions.
